Scent Work Foundation
Scent Work is for any dog who has a nose! This activity will satisfy your dog’s mental stimulation and olfactory needs (the need to SNIFF)! It is also very beneficial for dogs lacking in confidence or dogs who need a job. Scent Work Foundation is for all dogs of any age and any breed. This introductory course teaches your dog the foundation of the game, gets them focused, and builds your dog’s intensity to hunt. Depending on the dog’s level of experience we will work all four elements of Scent Work (boxes, interior searches, exterior searches, and vehicles) on their primary reward (food or toy). The human students will also learn to hone their own observation skills and enjoy watching their dogs have fun! Age range: all ages Pre-requisite: none, no training required.

Puppy Agility Fun
Does your puppy have the basic manners, but has more energy than you know how to channel? This class is a great way to use your puppy’s body and mind to tire them out while expanding their skills, socialization, and improving their listening skills. The class works on agility skills that keep all of the activities and equipment puppy appropriate. Plus it is a lot of fun to see them go through tunnels, climb on things, and work off-leash in a secure environment.A puppy needs to have taken a puppy class with us or somewhere else to be appropriate for this class.
Four weeks / Fee: $130Novice Barn Hunt Class
Are you looking for another sniffing activity for your dog? Would you like to compete in this popular dog sport? All dogs love using their nose! So why not let them use it as they were designed to sniff out a target, in this case, a rat. In our barn hunt class, you will learn the basics of barn hunt, introduce your dog to finding a rat, and start working towards your first barn hunt event. Dogs should be people and dog social. They need to be 4 months or older to attend. You can work with multiple dogs in this class since they will take turns.

Puppy Conformation/Handling Class
Do you have a puppy who you want to show in conformation? Do you want to get started using positive reinforcement methods to make showing fun for you and your puppy? Our 4-week puppy conformation class is for you! Teach the basics to your puppy along with socialization with people and a ring-like environment. We will work on exam, gaiting, and stacking without force, pain, or fear. Our puppy conformation class is for puppies 9 months and under.
