This league is for Canine Country Academy students who want to get out with their dog more on walks at local Gwinnett County Parks. We will provide the planning, organizing, and accountability to reach the goals of being more active with your dog in a fun way with other dog lovers.
The League dues are $20 per month (signing up automatically assumes you want to renew each month and creates a subscription payment). You can choose to cancel at any time.
One of our instructors will host each walk, providing you with the date, time, location, type of walking to expect, and the length of the walk in distance.
Dogs must be comfortable enough around new people and dogs, as well as park environments. If you are unsure if your dog would be appropriate for an outing, please discuss with your instructor.
The League will commit to 4 walks offered monthly at a minimum. Of these walks, two will be on the weekend and two during the week. You can sign up for one or more walks per your interests and availability. The schedule will be posted in a private Facebook group AND HERE.

May Walking Schedule
Sunday, May 3rd at 10 am – Tribble Mill Park – 2125 Tribble Mill Pkwy SE, Lawrenceville, GA 30045
This is a paved walking trail that is about 3 miles around the water. There is a slight elevation. We will meet by the playground at the Ozora Meadow area (the first parking lot once you turn into the Ozora area).
Monday, May 4th at 8:30 am – Rock Springs Park – 550 Rock Springs Rd, Lawrenceville, GA 30043.
This is a paved walking trail with mild elevation. It’s 1 to 2 miles in length.
Tuesday, May 5th at 8:30 am – Rabbit Hill Park – 400 Rabbit Hill Rd, Dacula, GA 30019
This is a paved walking trail that we can walk .5 – 3 miles. There is no elevation. We will meet by the dinosaur playground near the baseball fields.
Sunday, May 10th at 10 am – Little Mulberry Park off Fence Road – 3855 Fence Rd NE, Dacula, GA 30019
This is a fairly level paved walking path. We can do small loops and add more miles depending on the group. I’ll be game for up to 5 miles.
Tuesday, May 12th at 8:30 am – Eastern Regional Greenway – 2892 Harbins Rd, Bethlehem, GA 30620
This is a flat trail that is out and back. We will do 1 mile out and 1 mile back.
Monday, May 18th at 8:30 am – Harbins Park – 2995 Luke Edwards Rd, Dacula, GA 30019
This will be on the paved path for 1 to 2 miles (or more LOL). There is mild elevation once or twice. We will meet by the bathrooms.
