This league is for Canine Country Academy students who want to get out with their dog more often on walks at local Gwinnett County Parks. We will provide the planning, organizing, and accountability to reach the goals of being more active with your dog in a fun way with other dog lovers.
***The League is complimentary for all of our students who would be appropriate for this activity.***
One of our instructors (or a qualified student) will host each walk, providing you with the date, time, location, what to expect, and the walk’s distance.
Dogs must be comfortable enough around new people and dogs, as well as park environments. If you are unsure if your dog would be appropriate for an outing, please discuss with your instructor.
The League will commit to 4 walks offered monthly at a minimum. Of these walks, two will be on the weekend and two during the week. You can sign up for one or more walks per your interests and availability. The schedule will be posted in a private Facebook group AND HERE.

November Walking Schedule
Tuesday, November 10th at 9 am – Tribble Mill Park, 2125 Tribble Mill Pkwy SE, Lawrenceville, GA 30045
It’s an easy paved path with some elevation. We will do the full loop, which is about 3.5 miles around the lake.
*Meet in the Ozora Meadows area near the bathrooms and playground.
Monday, November 16th at 9 am – Little Mulberry Park, 3855 Fence Rd NE, Dacula, GA 30019
It’s an easy paved path with some elevation. We can do a very small, easy loop and add loops or different paths based on interest.
Tuesday, November 24th at 9 am – Harbins Park, 2995 Luke Edwards Rd, Dacula, GA 30019
This is a paved path with some elevation. This will be a couple of miles.
December Walking Schedule
Sunday, December 6th at 9 am – Little Mulberry Park (off Fence Road), 3855 Fence Road, Dacula, GA 30019
This walk can be as long or as short as we want. It’s paved with some elevation depending on which way and how long we want to walk. Meet by the bathrooms.
Saturday, December 12th at 4:30 pm – Harbins Park, multi-purpose
2550 Indian Shoals Road, Dacula
This is a paved walking path that is pretty easy and flat. It will be a shorter walk or multiple laps. We will meet by the playground.
Monday, December 14 at 9 am – Gwinnett Environmental & Heritage Center, 2020 Clean Water Dr, Buford, GA 30519
This is a paved path that is out and back. It will be at least 2 miles, with limited elevation.
Tuesday, December 22nd at 9:00 am – Rock Springs Park, 550 Rock Springs Rd, Lawrenceville, GA 30043
This is a paved path that will be about 2 miles. There are some good elevations.
Tuesday, December 29 at 9:00 am – Tribble Mill Park, 2125 Tribble Mill Pkwy SE, Lawrenceville, GA 30045
This is a paved walking trail that is about 3 miles around the water. There is a slight elevation. We will meet by the playground at the Ozora Meadow area (the first parking lot once you turn into the Ozora area).
