This league is for Canine Country Academy students who want to get out with their dog more on walks at local Gwinnett County Parks. We will provide the planning, organizing, and accountability to reach the goals of being more active with your dog in a fun way with other dog lovers.
The League dues are $20 per month (signing up automatically assumes you want to renew each month and creates a subscription payment). You can choose to cancel at any time.
One of our instructors will host each walk, providing you with the date, time, location, type of walking to expect, and the length of the walk in distance.
Dogs must be comfortable enough around new people and dogs, as well as park environments. If you are unsure if your dog would be appropriate for an outing, please discuss with your instructor.
The League will commit to 4 walks offered monthly at a minimum. Of these walks, two will be on the weekend and two during the week. You can sign up for one or more walks per your interests and availability. The schedule will be posted in a private Facebook group AND HERE.

December Walking Schedule
Saturday, December 27th at 1 PM – Little Mulberry Park 3855 Fence Rd NE, Dacula, GA 30019
It’s an easy paved path with some elevation. We can do a very small, easy loop and add loops or different paths based on interest.
January Walking Schedule
Tuesday 1/6 at 9 am – Bogan Park 2723 N Bogan Rd NE, Buford, GA 30519 A paved trail that has some gradual elevation. We will make the full loop about 1 mile. *Meet by the Aquatic building entrance.
Monday 1/12 at 9 am – Eastern Regional Greenway 2892 Harbins Rd, Bethlehem, GA 30620. It’s an easy paved path that is out and back. We can do 1 to 3 miles depending on attendance and interest.
Tuesday 1/20 at 9 am – Tribble Mill Park 2125 Tribble Mill Pkwy SE, Lawrenceville, GA 30045. It’s an easy paved path with some elevation. We will do the full loop, which is about 3.5 miles around the lake.
*Meet in the Ozora Meadows area near the bathrooms and playground.
Saturday 1/24 at 3:30 pm – Harbins Park 2995 Luke Edwards Rd, Dacula, GA 30019. A paved level trail that can be up to 3 miles. We will gauge based on the weather and the time it gets dark, how far we go.
Wednesday 1/28 at 8 am – Rabbit Hill Park 400 Rabbit Hill Rd, Dacula, GA 30019. A paved level trail that is very easy for all walkers. We will stay on the side with the baseball fields. *Meet by the bathroom closest to the playground with dino bones.
