Intro to Happy Ratters Workshop
This event is required for the handler before joining a drop-in group class. Your dog needs no prior Scent Work or Barn Hunt experience to enjoy this activity. The workshop is a hands-on 3-hour event taught by our friend Darla Lacey. Dogs must be comfortable seeing other dogs and being near new people.
During the workshop, you will learn about the rules of Happy Ratters and get to try out some of the standard searches as well as games (there are 15 different games!). There will be some discussion, demonstrations, and dogs in attendance that will get to hunt for rats about 3 times.
Limited to 8 working teams, $100 per team.
Unlimited audit spots for $25 per person.
Happy Ratters Drop-In Classes
These are 1-hour sessions limited to 6 dogs. The trainer will post in our private student Facebook group and send an email about upcoming drop-ins. The trainer will clearly state which type(s) of searches will be set up for the teams to enjoy for that session.
$45 per dog
The number of searches will vary based on the number of dogs in attendance and the searches that are set up. Dogs can be crated inside (if the class is held in our big training room) or outside of your vehicle (should the weather allow).
