This league is for Canine Country Academy students who want to get out with their dog more on walks at local Gwinnett County Parks. We will provide the planning, organizing, and accountability to reach the goals of being more active with your dog in a fun way with other dog lovers.
***The League is complimentary for all of our students who would be appropriate for this activity.***
One of our instructors (or a qualified student) will host each walk, providing you with the date, time, location, what to expect, and the walk’s distance.
Dogs must be comfortable enough around new people and dogs, as well as park environments. If you are unsure if your dog would be appropriate for an outing, please discuss with your instructor.
The League will commit to 4 walks offered monthly at a minimum. Of these walks, two will be on the weekend and two during the week. You can sign up for one or more walks per your interests and availability. The schedule will be posted in a private Facebook group AND HERE.

September Walking Schedule
Tuesday, September 29th at 8 am – Tribble Mill Park, 2125 Tribble Mill Pkwy SE, Lawrenceville, GA 30045
This is a paved walking trail that is about 3 miles around the water. There is a slight elevation. We will meet by the playground at the Ozora Meadow area (the first parking lot once you turn into the Ozora area).
October Walking Schedule
Saturday, October 3rd at 6 pm – Harbins Park, multi-purpose, 2550 Indian Shoals Road, Dacula
This is a paved walking path that is pretty easy and flat. It will be a shorter walk or multiple laps. We will meet by the playground.
Sunday, October 4th at 8:30 am – Little Mulberry Park (off Fence Road) 3855 Fence Road, Dacula, GA 30019
This walk can be as long or as short as we want. It’s paved with some elevation depending on which way and how long we want to walk. Meet by the bathrooms.
Monday, October 5th at 8:30 am – Gwinnett Environmental & Heritage Center, 2020 Clean Water Dr, Buford, GA 30519
This is a paved path that is out and back. It will be at least 2 miles, with limited elevation.
Tuesday, October 6th at 8:00 am – Rock Springs Park, 550 Rock Springs Rd, Lawrenceville, GA 30043
This is a paved path that will be about 2 miles. There are some mild elevations.
Tuesday, October 13th at 8:00 am – Tribble Mill Park, 2125 Tribble Mill Pkwy SE, Lawrenceville, GA 30045

Sunday, October 18th at 8 am – Alexander Park, 800 Old Snellville Highway, Lawrenceville
This is a paved walking path with some mild elevation. It is a busy park no matter the time of day (dogs, people, bikes, kids). The walk will be about 2 miles. We will meet by the bathroom/playground area closest to the Old Snellville entrance. This is a BIG park, so be sure you use the listed address.
Monday, October 19th at 8:30 am – Rabbit Hill Park, 410 Rabbit Hill Road, Dacula, GA 30019
This is a level paved path that can be 1 to 3 miles. We will meet by the dinosaur playground across from the baseball fields.
