PRIVATE LESSONS
We come to you!  Schedule private in-home sessions to address behavioral issues or to work on general obedience in a one-on-one setting.  Private lessons typically last one and a half hours.  Call for pricing in your area.

WINTER CLASSES
Come train your dog at one of our climate controlled training facilities in Dacula or Lawrenceville.  Group classes are a fun way to train and a great way to meet other dog owners!  TO REGISTER FOR CLASS: Please click on the Contact/Register page and fill out the class registration form and remit payment via the drop down menu by choosing the class you wish to take.  Please try to register no later than FIVE days prior to the class start date.  Class sizes are a maximum of 6 dogs unlesss otherwise specified.  Please note: NO REFUNDS will be given after the start of the first class.

C.L.A.S.S. STUDENTS BA LEVEL
 

PUPPY 101: This is an AKC Star Puppy Program class.  This course covers basic obedience commands, provides some socialization with other puppies and teaches your puppy good house manners.  Your puppy will learn SIT, DOWN, LET'S GO, COME and HEEL.  This class also covers other behavioral issues like housebreaking and jumping.  For puppies 3 months and older. (Six week course/ Cost: $110)

APDT CANINE LIFE AND SOCIAL SKILLS:  This is a launch of a brand new program initiated by the Association of Pet Dog Trainers and designed for the needs of the family pet dog. CLASS is an opportunity to help your dog build “canine life and social skills” for today’s world. CLASS is a family-friendly, dog-friendly program based on the relationship-building skills emphasized in APDT Rally, one of the fastest growing dog sports in the nation.  Dogs and owners love CLASS because it is positive training for life.  Some of the many life skills taught in this class are: Sit/Down Stays, Wait at Door, Wait to be Fed, Come, Crate Skills and Leash Manners.  This program is also designed beautifully to help dogs just coming out of rescue or shelter situations to assimilate better into their new homes.  For Puppy 101 graduates or dogs needing Beginner Obedience.  Click here for more info on the program: C.L.A.S.S. (Six week course/ Cost: $130)

K9 FUN NOSE WORK:  This new fun activity and sport is sweeping the nation!  Satisfy your dog’s mental stimulation and olfactory needs (“the need to sniff!”) by signing up for this wonderful class.  Class descriptions are below:

Intro to Nose Work: This class teaches your dog the foundation of the game, gets them focused and builds your dog’s intensity to hunt.  This course is particularly helpful for dogs with fearful or reactive issues and is a wonderful confidence builder for your dog.  Students will also learn to hone their own observation skills.  Level 1 is a pre-requisite to Level 2 to build foundational hunting skills.  Level 2 advances searching for primary food reward in multiple locations, interior, exterior and vehicles. (Six week course/ Cost: $130)

Intro to Odor:  This class introduces the first odor used in K9 Nose Work.  Problem solving is also a strong component to this class as your dog learns how to hunt and find odor with more challenging hides. Multiple search environments are used. Students must have attended at least one Intro to Nose Work course prior to enrolling in this class. (Six week course/ Cost $130)

Continuing Nose Work:  This class is for students who have completed Intro to Odor and wish to continuing honing their dog’s skills searching for odor.   Multiple search environments will be utilized including interior, exterior and vehicle searching.  This course is also for students desiring to build their competition skills. (Six week course/ Cost: $140)

Tuesdays from 7:45 to 9pm starting February 21st

BEYOND THE BASICZ: Are you looking for a class to reinforce skills like heel, coming when called and attention?  Would you like to learn additional skills to continue your dog’s education while having a ton of fun?  This hip new class will take important every day skills to the next level!  It will also teach some fun new behaviors like fetch (great for helping around the house), spin in a circle, jump through a hula hoop and back-up to name a few.  The course will include creative ways to practice and learn new skills by incorporating games and music.  The course will be taught by our very own Certified Trick Dog Instructor, Paula Nowak (the only one in the state of GA) which means you and your dog are sure to have a fun time while learning!  Your dog will also be eligible to work towards their very own title (www.domorewithyourdog.com).  (Six week course/ Cost: $120)

Saturdays from 2pm to 3pm starting March 3rd

REACTIVE DOG:  Are you embarrassed taking your dog out with you to public places?  Does your dog seem to lose his/her mind when seeing another dog or person?  Is your dog suffering from leash frustration?  Then this is the class for you!  This course will help you gain confidence and your dog learn better manners and coping skills when seeing dogs or people that seem to "set them off."  Dogs will be pre-screened before acceptance in this class.  (Six week course/ Cost: $140)

APDT RALLY OBEDIENCE:  Rally obedience is a fun, competitive sport, combining teamwork with dog and handler with challenging obedience coursework.  This class will prepare dogs and owners to compete in APDT Rally, or just have fun learning more obedience behaviors and building teamwork with their dog.  For dogs who have completed Puppy 101, C.L.A.S.S. program or have basic heeling and stationary commands down.  Check out more at APDT Rally (Six week course/ Cost: $120)

The RUT Class
 – Really Useful Tricks: 
In a training “rut” with your dog? Ever think about training your dog to help you around the house to turn on a light or fetch your favorite slippers?  Get out of your “rut” by taking our Really Useful Tricks Class! Come join the fun and teach your dog some really useful tricks like GET YOUR LEASH, WIPE YOUR PAWS, FETCH, TURN ON THE LIGHT, CLOSE THE DOOR and many more.  Improve your bond with your dog and have fun doing it with this practical and entertaining tricks class. For dogs of all ages.  (Four week course/ Cost: $95)

AGILITY FUN: 
 

This is an Agility class focusing on improving reliable off-leash skills and having fun working with jumps and other Agility equipment.  This class is designed for fun and to provide great mental and physical exercise. (Six week course/ $120)
